- Cook pasta according to directions on the box. When cooked, drain and set aside
- In a sauce pan over medium heat, melt margarine
- Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute or until the garlic is golden and you can smell it
- Stir in flour. Wait a couple of seconds so the flour can combine/cook. Then slowly add in milk, stirring constantly for 8 minutes with a wire whisk until the mixture is thick and bubbly.
- Stir in cream cheese and cook for 2 more minutes. Then add most of the parmesan cheese and stir til the cheese is combined
- Add in parsley and pepper, stir
- Pour cheese mixture over the pasta and serve! :) (don't forget to add the extra cheese ontop!)
- Optional ingredients: cooked zucchini, broccoli or rosted cherry tomatoes. Just throw them in at the end!
