- Get 1/2 lb Broccoli (that's not an exact amount, I guessed, I didn't measure it. use as much or as little as you want to.)
- Take 1/4 packages Velveta cheese (about ½ an in thick, ¼ øf the block)
- Make ready 1/4 tsp Of each of the following: pepper, garlic, onion powder, minced onion, basil, & celery seed.
- Take 1 Salt to taste & to salt the water
- Take 1 1/2 tbsp Evoo (extra virgin olive oil) ½ for the hamburger, the other 1 goes îñ the water for the noodles
- Take 2 stick Butter (or 1 really lg spoonfullarger than a tbs of margarine, or to your taste)
Stir the garlic and cheddar cheese. I had ground beef, broccoli and a craving for Mac and cheese and voila; Cheesy Beef and Broccoli Pasta was born 😉. Try this recipe with asparagus spears instead of broccoli. Broccoli florets are roasted until tender, then topped with a panko and shredded cheese topping which makes this the most amazing roasted Enter… this super incredible crispy cheesy roasted broccoli!!
Steps to make Cheesy Broccoli, Meat & Noodles:
- In a lg pot, add the water, some salt & some of the oil. You can add more seasonings to it to help flavor the noodles as the water is not going to be drained off.
- While water is getting up to a boil, in a lg skillet, combine the hamburger & sausage til well mixed.
- Now add the seasonings & oil & combine til well mixed then brown over medium heat til sausage is done.
- While the meat is browning, add the noodles to the water & cook for about 5 min, you don't want to go any longer bc you're adding the broccoli to it.
- Next add the broccoli to the water & noodles, cook til the noodles are just tender, about another min or 2.
- Next you want to add the meat to the pot & stir, now add the milk, stir.
- Next add the cheese. (I didn't slice it or cut it up, I just broke it up into lg chucks.)
- Now, after all ing are in, stir, cover w a lid & let simmer for about 20+ min gv ør take a few.
- Stir, serve, & enjoy!
