Instructions to make Curd rice and potato fries:
- Pressure cook the rice, for curd rice the rice has to be soft so add extra water to keep it soft and moist.(if you are using leftover rice you once have to grind the rice with milk for a second to make it soft and smooth)
- Once rice is done and it's cool down add milk and stir it nicely,then add curd to it and whisk it so that all the ingredients mix and give a good consistency.lastly add salt to it and it's done
- Final step is tempering,take a pan add oil followed by hing,mustard seeds,curry leaves,red chilli,both the daals and let it dance over the rice.
- Top it up with peanut and coriander leaves and serve.
- For potato fries simply peel and cut it,after cutting let it dry.then add salt,haldi and mirchi powder.
- Put a kadai add oil for frying once the oil is done put the sliced potato and deep fry it.
