- bake for one hour and five minutes.
- during the last ten minutes of bake time i make my glaze.
- Almond Amaretto glaze. bring three-quarter cup sugar, six tbsp. butter,one quarter cup almond liqueur 2 tbsp water to a boil in a small sauce pan. stirring often; reduce heat to a medium low, and boil. approx. 3 min, remove from heat use immediately. pour over warm cake let it soak in as it cools.
