  12. Get 1/2 cup Frozen Peas

  14. Make ready 2 cups Chicken Stock or Dashi Stock (500ml) *OR Water 2 cups & Asian Chicken Bouillon Powder 1 teaspoon
  15. Get 1/2-1 tablespoon Soy Sauce *depends on the saltiness of the stock
  16. Take 1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
  17. Get 1 tablespoon Mirin

Okowa おこわ (強飯) is a Japanese steamed rice dish made with glutinous rice mixed with meat or vegetables. It is sometimes combined with wild herbs (sansai okowa) and vessel chestnuts (kuri okowa). Okowa (おこわ)is the name given to a type of rice dish in which sticky glutinous rice is mixed with all kinds of vegetables or meat and steamed. It's related to Chinese sticky rice, which you might have had as part of a dim sum meal.

  6. Plug the rice cooker in and press the Cook/Start button. When the rice is cooked, sprinkle Frozen Peas over and let them steamed for 10 minutes, then toss the rice gently.
